Lending a Helping Hand to Our Neighbors
For our June monthly tradition of service, we were pleased to help serve meals for approximately 75 adults and several children at the Capital City Rescue Mission in Albany. Our team stayed through dinner and cleaned up the space in preparation for the attendees’ safe night of rest.
Founded in 1949, the Capital City Rescue Mission resides in the heart of New York State and focuses on supporting individuals facing homelessness. Since it’s establishment, the Mission has grown from providing warm meals and clean clothing to becoming a safe shelter, a source of free medical care, and home to serval recovery programs for the unseen citizens of Albany.
We had a great time and enjoyed establishing meaningful connections with our neighbors. We look forward to continuing to support the Capital City Rescue Mission in the future, as well as volunteering at other community organizations in the cities where we are proud to live and work.
