Key Capture Energy-CDPHP-Workforce Team Challenge

Last month, Key Capture Energy participated in the 3.5-mile CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge, New York Capital Region’s largest annual road race. The race fell smack in the middle of a week-long all employee strategy meeting, which took place at our headquarters in Albany. While many members of our team have competed in this race in the past as solo runners or with former employers, this was the first year we competed as Team KCE. Our 22 athletes showed strong results!  Our top three finishers were Development Analyst – Ben Gorman, Director of Engineering and Construction – Jim Brown, and CEO – Jeff Bishop, with our lead team placing 19th among the 411 male teams and our CEO, Jeff placing 5th among 70 CEOs!

This year’s race raised $47,000 for the Albany Damien Center and Family Promise of the Capital Region, which will be used to provide relief services for people living with HIV/AIDS and homelessness. It was a great day for our team and we look forward to taking 1st in all categories in next year’s race!
