To advance our growing portfolio of energy storage projects across the U.S., we have expanded our management team by hiring leading experts from across the energy landscape to provide direction and oversight critical to our next strategic growth stage. We are pleased to announce that Ann Anthony has joined as KCE’s Chief Financial Officer, Joel Turkheimer has joined as Director of Asset Management, and Rachel Goldwasser has joined as Director of Legal and Regulatory. Each brings extensive experience, knowledge, and long-standing relationships in the energy industry, which will be invaluable as we continue to develop, construct and build more battery projects across the country.

Prior to joining KCE, Anthony was the Vice President and Treasurer of South Jersey Industries, Inc., and Principal Financial Officer of an SJI subsidiary, SJI Utilities, Inc. In those roles, she served as the strategic senior executive responsible for capital market transactions including debt and equity issuance, M&A transactions, investor relations and project management. Anthony is focused on capital structuring at KCE.

Turkheimer was formerly a Director at Energy GPS LLC, where he managed the development of models for battery storage optimization and valuation and supported energy asset contract negotiation. Turkheimer leads market participation strategies for KCE in both the day-ahead and real-time markets and closely works with our Commercial team on deal-structuring.

Goldwasser was previously the Executive Director at the New England Conference of Public Utilities Commissioners (NECPUC), where she worked on behalf of the public utility commissions in the six New England states. Before that she practiced law at Orr & Reno P.A., in Concord, New Hampshire and served as a law clerk for the Honorable John A. Woodcock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine. Goldwasser currently leads our regulatory and policy advocacy while serving as KCE’s principal in-house legal advisor.
