Industry Veteran Joins KCE’s Growing Team, Will Focus on Continued Expansion

Albany, NY – Sept 7, 2023 – Key Capture Energy, LLC (“KCE”), a leading developer, owner and operator of battery energy storage systems in the United States today announced the addition of Colin Tareila as the Executive Vice President of Asset Operations where he will oversee KCE’s growing portfolio of operating battery energy storage systems.

“I’m happy to have such a well-respected industry leader with a strong technical background joining the KCE team,” said KCE CEO Jeff Bishop. “His addition will allow KCE to drive operational performance, supporting our industry leading revenue optimization tools MarketCapture™ and WattBot™.”

Prior to joining KCE, Colin led the creation, development, and scaling of AWS Truepower, now UL’s Solutions, technical due diligence and independent engineering teams from its initial inception to one of the largest and most respected in North America. Colin has also led the growth of UL’s hybrid technology software business HOMER and spearheaded the P&L transformation of UL Solution’s North America Renewables Business.
